A couple of months ago, I ordered Tom Hansen's new CD ("Matters of the heart") directly from him in Norway, forgetting that Norway was not part of the EU, which almost cost me a fortune in customs but that's another story... With the CD, Tom sent me a compilation of his previous works, including this beauty which was new to me... That's a surprise. I've never ordered anything from Norway but I thought its membership of the EEA would have got it past Customs. If it had happened to me I would have suspected the usual money making scam typical of Finnish post, which charges a handling fee for anything it intercepts in this way, in addition to whatever VAT charges Customs puts on it. Perhaps you have been the victim of a similar scam, Thierry. One thing I've noticed about Belgian dealers is their postage charges are usually a lot higher than those from other European countries.
Hi Mickey... It's not a scam mate. As Norway is not part of the EU, a parcel is subjected to customs taxes when it enters Belgium: a fixed handling fee of 15 euros per parcel + VAT on the content of the parcel, so in a way it's an official scam lol, and a total rip off... As far as the Belgian shipping rates are concerned, again the Belgian post rates are higher than anywhere else, except possibly the Netherlands... (not lol)

That's kind of ironic, since it's largely because of a Dutchman, Frits Bolkestein, that European postal services have become so screwed up, dysfunctional and expensive, supposedly in the name of competition. And if it really were a single market, we would not be having this discussion since there would not be any such thing as "Belgian" or "Dutch" postal charges. But hey, his idea looked great on paper!

Didn't have that Tease CD but found a copy recently and was really surprized to see that they had covered this AOR track, and to good effect !

New(ish) from ‘22 but I think this sits pretty well in this thread.

I only have a clip of this to share. There’s definitely a west coast style to this but I suspect he may be Swedish. It’s from 2018. Running out of time by William Silkstrom.

Equally as good as "Lowdown", don't know why it didn't have the same success :
