Thanks for the kind comments, Mickey & Gail, I started selecting tracks for Disco Giants from #14 on actually.... Nighttime Lovers from #28 on....

Hopefully that's a sign of a forthcoming reissue - those Spinners mid-80s albums deserve it.
There's always the Peter Royer version:
Just heard Angus Kemp play the extended Candlelight mix of this with a lovely piano solo by Dexter Wansel, not available on Youtube unfortunately, but well worth looking out for a future volume in this series.
As is that "other" Intrigue track that gets ignored because confused with "I like it" ... "Like the way you do it":

Not aware of any boot ... would be a surprise as this was hardly their biggest hit. But if you're able to get either or both these tracks in a future volume that would be mighty fine, as Peter Jacques Band would say.
Actually, there's another suggestion:

Here's another suggestion, Sandra Feva on a Ronnie McNeir co-production from 1988:

Thierry, if something good is not on your list it's either cos you've forgotten or you've somehow missed it ... your taste is beyond question as far as I'm concerned, and you have put life back into these series that had become a bit tired before you took them over.
This came out a few years back on an Athens of the North reissue but apart from a couple of French boots I don't think Aaron Broomfield's 1981 masterpiece has made it onto cd (not legit, anyway):

Good call, and thanks again for the kind words Sir! The Aaron Broomfield has made it on CD on the reissue of LA Voyage "Never looking back (Again)" FTG CD : www.discogs.com/release/2535789-La-Voyage-Never-Lookin-Back-Again

To my knowledge this record hasn't made it on to cd, but very happy to be corrected - a lone single on Salsoul from 1983:
