I never listened to this album at the time of release, but recently I got hold of a cheap copy of the CD, it's from 1990, and this track stood up immediately : I wonder whether you knew it was a cover version Thierry? Here's the original from 1988. I have this 12". Remember buying it back in the day. |

Just discovered this by Rocky Padilla. Never heard of the fella. Very reminiscent of Keith Sweat. Great track from 1994.

With a Marvin Gaye / Leon Ware vibe this was a refreshing listen tonight by Jestofunk from 1994. Never heard it before, but so classy!

Giorge Pettus - Don't Put Off 'Til Tomorrow (CD This Is Your Night) 1991
In the early 90's I lived and worked in London and used to listen to a station called Choice FM and a show called 'The Quiet Storm'. I can't remember the name of the guy who presented the show but he was brilliant, and this is where I first heard this magnificent slice of soul.
