Hope a good time was had by all, who attended this. I have some great memories of early Cleethorpes. The 2 hour set this year by TJ would be one of my highlights but The quizzes on a Sunday Afternoon was always a right laugh. I believe the weekenders are coming to an end or is it Just Mr Croasdell's involvement?
People being thrown into the pool on Sunday nights and people setting up record decks outside caravans after the club had shut - oh my - where did the years go?

This was the last one, Steve. It’s the final Soul Essence next year, too. Perhaps they realise that their audience is getting a bit older and prefer tea dances these days 😇😂 I know my preference is a Saturday/Sunday afternoon do, or at best, a midnight finish.

I'm afraid you are right Gail - the age demographic at most soul events is 50 plus nowadays - and yes afternoos events for me as well. Soul Essence at Yarmouth coming to a close as well? very, very, depressing - but no one has beaten Father Time to my knowledge
